The content will focus on establishing the relationship between RQE and Precision Analytics and explains how robust quality index (RQI) can be used to measure overall quality. The RQI approach, to large extent, intended to minimize the loss to society that is improving quality levels as defined by Dr. Genichi Taguchi. In this part of the workshop the overall RQI approach is presented along with successful real case studies from industries.
About the SPEAKER:
Rajesh Jugulum, Ph.D., is the Chairman and Chief Data Science and Analytics Officer at dataDragon and an Affiliate Professor at Northeastern University, Boston, United States of America (USA). Prior to this, he held executive positions in the areas of data science, analytics and process engineering at Cigna, Citi Group and Bank of America. Rajesh completed his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Genichi Taguchi. Before joining industry, Rajesh was with Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT, where he was involved in research and teaching. Currently, he is also an affiliate faculty at University of Arkansas, Little Rock. Rajesh is the author/co-author of several papers and five books including books on robust quality, data quality and design for lean six sigma. Rajesh also holds two US patents. Rajesh is a Fellow of American Society for Quality (ASQ) and also a Fellow of Royal Statistical Society (RSS). His other honors include ASQ’s Feigenbaum medal and International Technology Institute’s Rockwell medal.
