In conjunction with the Symposium on Al-Attas, the RZS-CASIS students society conducts independent series of dialogues among graduate students researching on Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas together with invited scholars to share their thoughts. The dialogues will take place for four days starting 5pm to 11pm from 10th – 13th February 2020. The list of presenters and topics are as below.
The objective of this session is in line with the proposed objectives of academic activities in RZS-CASIS such as to strengthen the tools and attitude of learning and research; to create a community of learning as one of the manifestations of knowledge culture; to provide platform for public speaking.
The challenges that we face now is intellectual as much as it is cultural due to the ever increasing distractions and other unavoidable responsibilities demanded upon seekers of knowledge. It should be our main concern to try and re-center several activities towards imbibing the knowledge culture across the society through series of intellectual and healthy dialogues among seekers of knowledge. >>
