UTM International organized a management camp for the International Student Society at Savannah Hill Resort, Ulu Tiram. The program was participated by top four representatives from the International Student Society (ISS) of every 18 country chapters, ISS central, Student Representative Council (MPP) and the top three positions of UTM Global Buddies. Overall, the total participant is 55 students, comprised of 45 males and 10 females
The participants gathered at UTM International office around 7.30 a.m. before they departed to Savannah Hill an hour later. The participants arrived at the venue around 9.30 a.m, and proceeded to the hall where most of the programs took place.
Briefly after, the participants were given a welcoming speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohd Ariffin Bin Abu Hassan, the Associate Director of Global Education and Experience. In his speech, PM Dr Mohd Ariffin briefed about the itinerary of the management camp and he also talked about the management staff of UTM International regarding the positions and responsibilities of each member. The event then proceeded to ice breaking and games session where the participants got to know and interacted with other participants from different countries in a fun and relaxed environment. Around 11:30 am, the participants were gathered in their respective country chapter or organisations to plan their activities for one year. At 1 p.m. they went on for lunch and Friday prayer. >>
