Our distinguished presenter Prof Noriyoshi Tsuchiya participated several times in the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition, and in the third expedition (2009-2010), he was an expedition leader of the Earth Scientific Research Party of the Sør Rondane Mountains, East Antarctica.
