7th International Conference and Workshop on Basic and Applied Sciences (ICOWOBAS 2019)

Welcome to the 7th International Conference and Workshop on Basic and Applied Sciences (ICOWOBAS 2019).

The first ICOWOBAS was held in August 2007 in the city of Surabaya to signify the implementation of new collaboration between Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Soon after, the second ICOWOBAS was held jointly with the Regional Annual Fundamental Science Seminar (RAFSS 2009) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia on 3-4 June 2009.

In 2017, the conference was held at Salahaddin University (Kurdistan, Iraq) to signify the collaboration between UTM, UNAIR and Salahaddin University.

We are proud to announce that in 2019, we will organize the 7th ICOWOBAS and we look forward to meeting everyone again.

The scope of the ICOWOBAS 2019 encompasses research from fundamental principles to practical applications in the broad field of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.

This year, ICOWOBAS 2019 is jointly organized by the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Johor, Malaysia), Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga (Surabaya, Indonesia), and Salahaddin University-Erbil ( Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq).

Together, we look forward to bring an opportunity for all of us, to exchange knowledge, build new and deepen existing network as well as forging the future together.

The workshops will be held in UTM.
The conference will be held at KSL Resorts, Johor Bahru.
