Next, UTM Professor Ir Ts Dr Zainuddin Manan who chairs the Malaysia Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA – Thermal Energy) drafting committee shall deliberate on why and how thermal energy conservation is expected to be The Next Big Thing in Malaysia in pushing the limits of Industrial EE&C beyond COVID-19. Prof Zain shall highlight how the game-changing Process Integration Technology based on Pinch Analysis had enabled energy guzzlers worldwide to sustainably achieve multiple bottom line benefits of reduced thermal and electrical energy, reduced costs, waste and emissions, achieve competitive edge and significantly contribute to multiple SDGs.
