ATU-Net Virtual University Presidents Forum 2020
The University Presidents Forum 2020 (UPF2020), UTM’s signature programme was initially scheduled to be held in November this year, making it the tenth of its series. However, the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic calls for a postponement and a different approach that would suit the current needs and demands of international higher education.
In place of the face-to-face programme, UTM via collaborative works with the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net), is organising ATU-Net Virtual UPF2020 in three series. ATU-Net is a strategic international alliance connecting technological higher learning institutions in Asia, and which UTM is both chair and secretariat.
ATU-Net Virtual UPF2020 will be concentrating on higher education and post COVID-19 recovery. The first series, themed “Embracing the New Norm: Leadership, Values and Skills” includes keynote addresses, roundtable session, and Q&A sessions.
The programme will be held online on July 15, 2020 (Wednesday) from 14:30 to 16:30 (GMT8+) and can be joined via UTM Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/
It will be attended by university presidents, vice presidents, senior representatives of universities, and other stakeholders of higher education including university students.
