Sowing The Seeds of Diversity & Inclusion – Developing Global Perspectives

Welcome to the Diversity and Inclusion Youth Camp 2017! This year’s event will be organised by University Technology Malaysia (UTM), KDU University College (KDUUC), HarmonyWorks Facilitations and Sampoerna University (SU). The theme of the camp is “Sowing The Seeds of Diversity & Inclusion – Developing Global Perspectives”. Students from educational institutions across the ASEAN region will come together in Iskandar, Johor to explore and embrace the issues related to diversity and inclusion.

While the increasingly globalised world is witnessing rapid mobility among students from different countries as well as increased opportunities for international employment, the fundamental challenge remains within the deep rooted misconception and mistrust across races, cultures, and beliefs. A keener awareness of diversity and its challenges will help progress and live harmoniously with one another. Hence, the responsibility lies with educational institutions to prepare our students for the future. During this camp, students will discover new ideas and values, and acquire new skills, leaving as ambassadors of this movement.

There is no registration fee for this camp. More information about the camp will be available at your Student Affairs Division.
