Evaluation Workshop for Research University Grant (GUP) 2013, 13 – 14 September 2012

Dear Prof./Associate Prof.Dr. /Dr./Mr./Mrs.,

K-Economy Research Alliance will organize GUP 2013 Evaluation Workshop on 13 and 14 September 2012 at Theatre Hall 1 & 2 – Ibnu Sina Institute, UTM Johor Bahru. This workshop is specifically to evaluate GUP 2013 proposals that were submitted by members from UTM Johor Bahru only. For applicants from UTM Kuala Lumpur, we will organize the same workshop on 26 September 2012 at Jumaah Hall, UTM KL.

The newly appointed K-Economy Research Alliance Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Selamat will start the session by giving a welcoming speech, followed by GUP 2013 briefing by RMC Director, Prof. Dr. Ruzairi Abdul Rahim. Evaluation for the GUP proposals will be held afterwards in parallel session until 5 pm and continued the next day.

The program is tentatively as follows:

13 September 2012, Thursday: 

8.00 am : Registration

9.00 am : Welcoming speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali bin Selamat, Dean of K-Economy Research Alliance

9.15 am : Briefing on GUP 2013 by Prof. Dr. Ruzairi Abdul Rahim, Director of Research Management Centre (RMC) 

9.45 am : Q & A 

10.00 am : Tea break 

10.15 am : Evaluation session 

1.00 pm : Lunch break 

2.00 pm :  Evaluation session 

4.00 pm : Tea break 

4.20 pm : Evaluation session 

5.00 pm : End of session

14 September 2012, Friday: 

8.00 am : Evaluation session 

12.00 noon : Lunch break

2.45 pm : Evaluation session

4.00 pm : Tea break

4.20 pm : Evaluation session

5.00 pm : End of session
