Virtual International Engagement: UTM and St Petersburg Electrotechnical University, Russia

Virtual International Engagement on 3rd day of Eid. Introducing St Petersburg Electrotechnical University ETU “LETI”, Russia. Founded in 1886, ETU “LETI” was the first higher education institution in europe to specialize in Electrical Engineering. Alexander Popov, the inventor of radio was the first elected director of the institute in 1905. UTM and LETI signed an MoU in 2019, and both universities are members of the Joint Workshop for Global Engineers in Asia & Beyond consortium. The meeting today discussed online events and programs for students and staff, and was attended by Ms Maria Kiseleva Director of International Relations (St Petersburg Electrotechnical University) and Student Mobility Manager, Ms Fasihah from UTM International.
