Rugby Friendly Match: Pirates vs Wildcats

A friendly rugby match between UTM Pirates and Wildcats RC will be held on 15 February 2020 at Main Field, UTM Johor Bahru.

Let’s come and support rugby sport!!!

Admission is free and free are sitting available along the field!!!

The friendly match is a preparation for both team before entering Johor Rugby League 2020 (JRL) tournament.

As for UTM Pirates, most of the players are the first and second-year students from the Faculty of Engineering.

While some newbie players are from UTM SPACE Foundation Program, there are also experienced players from third and fourth-year students that will be guiding the team.

UTM Pirates is being coached by Mr Shahriezaniel Salim, Assistant Engineer at School of Electrical, Faculty of Engineering.

Mr Shah is also known as “Wak Tong” among Malaysian Rugby Community.
